All these years, I`m fond of getting crushes over personalities who don`t really know someone like me exist. TV personalities, athletes, spokespersons, etc. -- Oooooh, a bunch of butterflies they brought in my stomach. But among all of them, Atty. Jose Midas Marquez was the first person ever to make me blush as if I`m going to explode. :"""""""> I don`t know how it all started. Maybe it was because I was so attached to the television and I always see him on interviews about different issues. And by then, I got so impressed with everything he say. It made me think that he really deserves to be in that position!
Last night, I slept at 3am since I had insomnia once again. So to consume time, I got kuya's cellphone and search over google anything about him. And I found this article: Body Talk with Midas Marquez. It was a very personal interview. It was really fun knowing the other side of the Supreme Court administrator/spokesperson. These are some things that really got me crazy:
He`s 45. All the while, I thought he was only in his 30s. He looks younger than his age! :)
We`re both Aquarians. Hihihihihihihi.
He studied grade school in La Salle; high school, college (AB Economics) and law at the Ateneo. O___O
He plays basketball. :))
He was named after mythical King Midas (who turns everything he touches into gold) because he said his father’s business flourished when Midas was born. Naks, swerte.
He collects bonsai. Weird.
He was once a political activist in his college days, he was a founding member of Lakas ng Atenista, the counterpart of the League of Filipino Students. He used to join rallies in Mendiola Bridge along with classmates like Risa Hontiveros and Erin Tañada, who are now lawmakers, and experienced being dispersed by tear gas and water cannons.
BTW, just recently, I saw this viral video over Youtube and it was so funny. I hate it how some people thinks Midas is gay. :/ NO, HE`S NOT! :/
I have a lot to tell in this post. So get ready, cause this is gonna be looooong. :)
Last January 12 was superb. We watched 2 plays in the COC Theater produced by the Sining Lahi Polyrepertory, the official theater group of our university. We were there to support Cath, our blockmate and my seatmate in English and Bio. The first play was entitled 'Konstraksyon Sayt'. We watched it first last sem but with different set of actors. I think, the last performance was better. And then the second play was 'Yuna @ 18'. Here, Cath played as the sister of Yuna. The story was so dramatic. Plus, we were so surprised upon Mosang`s appearance. She played as a mother. By the way, Mosang is a comedian. We only found out that day that she was a PUP alumnus, former Sining Lahi Polyrep member, a graduate of Broadcast Communication and her batchmate was my current major professor (Uy, coursemate! :)) I didn`t expected that it was going to be a tearjerker because the first part of the play was so funny. Mosang was so good! Cath performed great too. She made me cry cause her acting was really effective.
January 13. Friday the 13th! It was quite a bad day because I got a low grade in BRCO3033 midterm. But it was still a happy day. Before going home, I dropped by LBC to get the payment given by this certain person who bought the Gerald Santos album I sold. First time to have an LBC transaction! It was exciting. After I had the payment, I sent my album to him and voila.. done deal! Hihihi.
This week was a light week for me. We had our Math midterm. Had my report in ENGL yesterday. :| Bio midterm postponed. Then UPCAT results were released already! Congrats Arwin! Congrats too to Christine Tiu! :)
Also, we watched the Impeachment Trial last Thursday with mommy. I`m on the side of the truth! I don`t feel good with Chief Justice Corona, but because Atty. Midas Marquez is on the side of the Supreme Court.. ugh. :""> Let me feel the kilig vibes. Hihi. But in the end, we have to face the truth and if someone will be proven guilty then so be it. :)
Yesterday, I thought there wouldn`t be a seat available in the train anymore. So I stand near the hand rails. Then there was this tiny space, so the lola and a girl let me sit in the middle of them. After some stations, I felt that I was already on the edge of the seat literally. I remained still even if my knees were already shaking. Then one by one, they left their seat and I finally had a nice position. It proves that no matter how hard things maybe, you`ll still surpass it no matter what. :) Oooh. Lesson for the week! Thank you Lord. :D

Everyday, Filipinos are bombarded with news about the former leader of our country. Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is sick and she`s been accused with Electoral Sabotage and a lot of cases has been already filed against her. In my own opinion, I think she deserves to be in that position. Because in the first place, if her hands are clean, then she will not not experience deprivation of traveling outside the country or she`ll not have a hard time to get a proper medical attention which she insists. In short, she`s free to do whatever she wants. So if she`s really innocent, then she should go with the procedures just like any other accused person. Or at least, just like What Erap had gone through. The government is giving her all the possible considerations. I don`t think the government really made a plan about the thing that Elena Bautista-Horn said. ("Put the Little Girl to Sleep") That`s really a not-so good accusation. :/ Well, let`s wait for the justice to be served. If she`ll be found guilty, then she has to suffer the consequences. On the contrary, if she`s not really guilty, then it`ll be the other way around.
PS. This is just a weird post about my views on this issue. And.. because the Supreme Court is part of this, I always see Atty. Jose Midas Marquez (SC administrator/spokesman). And now, he`s my new crush. Hihihi.

It's just that I was so crazy about Chris Tiu before and he runs a blog so I thought of creating my own as well. Years have passed, and I have grown yet I still keep my personal stuff here. Yes, things may change but one thing's for sure -- I will continue running this blog as long as I can.
