Sembreak had been a blast
written on Monday, November 5, 2012 @ 12:33 PM ✈

Before I continue with my SEMBREAK STORIES, I would like to inform everyone that I have already registered for the coming election. :D My whole registration process lasted for 6 hours. :/ Anyway, I would certainly give my precious vote to those public servants who really thinks for the welfare of the public. :)

Last Monday night, our family left for Isabela. It was my first time to travel by bus since we always use a car when traveling. We rode on a Victory Liner bus which has free WIFI connection so I got the chance to go online while traveling. Hihi. I was asleep most of the time during the trip even if it was really uncomfortable. Haha! There were some bus stops along the way. We arrived at the Santiago Bus Terminal at around 9 am. We were fetched by Tito Bong.

When we arrived at our Lola's house, we bless to the elders. Then we went to my Lolo's hospital-like room. It tore my heart as I saw him in that state. I can't imagine that just five months ago, he can still walk, he can still eat a lot. But now, he's really thin, to the point that you can actually feel his bones when you touch him. He eats and drinks a little everyday. He's as weak as ever. :(

In our two-day stay in Ramon, Isabela, I enjoyed playing with my cousins. We played badminton, bunch of sports on Wii, and my favorite -- Taptap Revenge on Gelai's iPad! :D Oh, brings back my childhood. :>

A day before we left Isabela, I tried to see Lolo. I gently opened the door and when I was about to come in, I saw him saying "Hirap na hirap na po ako."  I don't know. I couldn't stand seeing him suffer so I closed the door. Thoughts just poured out from my head that moment. All I do is pray, pray and pray. Praying that God would lessen the pain that my Lolo has been feeling. Praying that God would call my Lolo back home so he won't suffer anymore. :(

Then on the early morning of November 1, we left for Nueva Ecija. Before leaving, we went to Lolo. Tears fell own from my eyes as I saw him calling "Nanay.. Nay.. Nanay.." My Lolo calls my Lola Nanay. But my Lola doesn't go to the room every time because she's also sick and she can't contain the pain of seeing the one she loves suffer.

We reached General Tinio, Nueva Ecija at 4 pm. I can't explain the over-flowing happiness of feeling the N.E. atmosphere; of seeing the green fields and old houses. Just, wow.

We went straight to the Memorial Park to visit my Inang. I talked to her. I shared to her my stories even if I know that she knows about it already cause I know she's watching me from heaven. :) It would've been so much happier if she's still here. I know she'll be proud of the things that I have achieved. Hihi.

Since it's already getting dark, we already went home. We also went to my Tita Susan's house, just nearby my Tita Liezel's house (where we are staying at), since there's a little celebration there. It has been five years since we last went there, so I was surprised to see all my cousins grown big (Yes, I'm the only one who didn't grow in terms of height. Haha!). Tita Susan invited us to have a sleep-over at their house so we slept there. When we woke up, mommy and I had coffee outside, as we enjoyed looking at the fields. Then we had our very sumptuous breakfast! There's tuyo, hotdog and rice plus fresh carabao's milk. Yum. The whole family decided to have lunch at the riverside. Almost all of our relatives were there. :) Then we plunged into the water afterwards. I enjoyed the serenity of the place and the beauty of nature. It's something that could not be seen here in the Metro.

The following hours was spent playing with my cousins, most especially with my 2-year old cutie patootie cousin, JL. He's so smart and he's so cuddly. I also got to talk with Jossel, my cousin who I always spend my summer with way back pre-school days. :> She took the UPCAT and she'll also be taking the PUPCET. Yeay!

Here's a picture of I and my niece, Izel. And beside it was my picture with her five years ago, with the same shirt. My size doesn't grow too. Haha!

Just this Saturday, we went back to Cavite to prepare for the resumption of classes. :/

I hope to have more sembreaks like this.

PS. My plans of getting pro with flute, of reading Nicholas Sparks' novels and of watching movies will then be moved on the next break. I am so excited for Christmas break. Hohohohoho. =))
