It was May of 2010. It was one of the terrible months I had. Countless problems from nowhere got me really crazy. And because of the loneliness that I was feeling that moment, I tried to watch this certain show called Showtime. I don’t really watch too much show on TV before. But Showtime changed that habit. To me, it was more than just a show. It was… life. It’s like a Noche Buena package or a Christmas bonus or a special birthday present that we don’t receive everyday. It’s a rare precious gem that we definitely don’t want to let go of. Since then, whenever I’m not busy or I’m not at school, I watch and enjoy every single episode of it,
It’s nice to see the hosts, hurados and staffs make a good, big, happy family. It’s great to see how they make their audiences and contestants laugh and cry. And they inspire and influence them as well. Yes, influential.
I never really known Vice Ganda before not until his wit reached the hearts and souls of the Madlang People and Solid Showtimers including I. Back then, Anne Curtis, for me, is one of those big shiny names on the entertainment industry. Little did I know that behind that glam is her hidden craziness and confidence that made her a recording artist today. :) Vhong makes everybody feel the kilig vibes, just like how he did it in his romantic comedy movies. Plus, his dance moves sweeps the floor with this hotness! Billy and Karylle, who both started out as judges soon became part of the funny and talented pool of hosts too. Kuya Kim continued to give trivia. And he also spills his sometimes-waley-sometimes-havey jokes. And lastly, Jugs and Teddy came out of their comfort zones. From band members, they now host the show too.
I know yesterday was surprising because of this “Thank You” episode thing. But that doesn’t mark the end of Showtime. I can feel it. I believe ABS-CBN is cooking a better Showtime to be aired next month and I’m excited to see it soon.
Thank Yous may not be enough to show our utmost appreciation with the joy you, guys, brought through our homes. But for now, this is what we have to say: “Thank You, Showtime.” :)

“For once, for once, for once, I get the feeling that I'm right where I belong .”
- Fun.
This blog was created August of 2008. Putting up an account here wasn't really on my plans. It's just that I was so crazy about Chris Tiu before and he runs a blog so I thought of creating my own as well. Years have passed, and I have grown yet I still keep my personal stuff here. Yes, things may change but one thing's for sure -- I will continue running this blog as long as I can.
