I want to make good in the upcoming DOST-SEI merit scholarship entrance test. Maybe you would wonder why I`m now rooting to pass this certain test. Well first, I know I needed to help my parents in meeting my needs (tuition, books, allowance, etc.). Engineering is not my forte but I`ll try to get into it for the sake of helping. :) Secondly, it`s because of this certain conclusion which I`m not really sure of. (probably just 25%) Just recently, I went to the website of SEI and I found these passers of the merit scholarship last year. And then I went to the UPCAT website and I check the UPCAT passers last year. I don`t know what`s up with myself. Maybe I would like to check if these certain merit scholars pass the UPCAT too. And guess what? Almost all merit scholarship grantee passed the UPCAT and more than 5 or even 10 or even 15 oblation scholarship grantees! Then, I concluded things.
It is possible that these students took the said tests and because they were really smart, they made it through. or;
it is also possible that they passed the UPCAT first and then the result of their SEI scholarship test affected the UPCAT that`s why they also became part of the oblation scholarship. Since UP is government run and owned, they have the capacity to review the documents pertaining the tests they took.
So there. I concluded that there is a chance of getting my way through UP (and I can be an oblation scholar probably) if my conclusions were right that the scholarship aptitude test for DOST-SEI affects the oblation scholarship offered by UP. Maybe. Just maybe. But still, I don`t want to waste this opportunity given to me so I should be of great performance on November 21, 2010, 7:00-12:00NN at Muntinlupa National High School`s DOST building - Physics room.
PS. I`ve checked them once again and I found out that most of them chose engineering/science/math related courses in UP. I hope, they would consider mass comm too! :P

- Fun.
This blog was created August of 2008. Putting up an account here wasn't really on my plans. It's just that I was so crazy about Chris Tiu before and he runs a blog so I thought of creating my own as well. Years have passed, and I have grown yet I still keep my personal stuff here. Yes, things may change but one thing's for sure -- I will continue running this blog as long as I can.
