bonfire issue.

As we were watching the news last Monday, we heard about this bonfire issue. My dad can’t help to blame it to all the Ateneans. I really wanted to answer back, “sana po, wag niyong i-generalize, kasi not of all them did that act. It’s just that said alumnus." [“I hope you shouldn’t generalize it. After all, it’s not all of them who did that.”] But since I’m aware with what would he say next, I just kept my mouth shut and just forget it. Anyway, I know the real score.:)) Nonetheless, posted here in my blog are the actual photos from the grand bonfire last sept.30 [courtesy of kithykath_17’s blog]. As what I’ve said, this became an issue just recently because of the mischievous act of the alumnus in the said event. See? It was so horrible to see that this was done by the said alumnus. Written on the firewood are the names of DLSU green archer players. How pitiful. But since it already happened, apology would now be the only key to fix everything. And as what Charles Tiu had written on his blog, “I believe Fr. Ben was very angry upon finding out about it and he will issue an official letter of apology to DLSU.” Chris Tiu also quoted “Regarding Bon Fire issue, this is the first time I will comment. I was totally unaware about it until recently and I admit it was a foul move by that alumnus. He has apologized and we should move on. We all make mistakes.” And I totally agree with them-- Apologize then, move on. Would there still be a chance to bring to an end this rivalry? Well, I do hope that the DLSU community would accept the apology of the ADMU community though it would take time to heal completely.:))
