“FINALLY, it happened again.” –henna [it’s me:] Emotional. Ecstatic. The long wait of the Ateneo Blue Eagles is now over. Having that crown caught by the eagles from the archer’s arrow is surely a memorable experience for each and every ATENEANS and ATENEANS AT HEART :)) It’s quite hard to imagine that UAAP season ’71 finally took a bow. Remembering all those 3-point shots, rebounds, dunks, and so with the funny banners with the catchy and playful lines, oh, I just can’t help to go back to the past and stay there forever. Well, it happened this way. The epic battle started with a big bang. A really indifferent start with Rabeh Al-Hussaini (the newest MVP), gaining 2 personal fouls. Coach Norman Black can’t help to be hot-headed that time. It’s probably because of the ‘hey-it’s- finals- today’ pressure. But though Rabeh had been on the bench somewhat almost half of the game, the blue eagles, still soared high. With the powerful shots of the rookies, they actually swept the greens by scoring 16-10 in the first quarter. On the next quarters, the tension were getting much higher [of course, what do you expect from an admu-dlsu game?]. On the third quarter, Rico Maierhofer had been ousted from the game because as what the refs and video said, that he did an offensive foul. I mean, when he did a bad-finger to Rabeh. But he denied it. Well, he can’t do anything. 1 down from the greens. On the last quarter, Jvee was next to be kicked off, it’s also because of a foul he did on Jai Reyes. So, 2 down. Last 2 minutes. Ateneo’s still leading. 10…7…5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and 0. Final score: 51-62 [Chris Tiu had threw the ball up and then run to his team]
ATENEO WON! Woot! Every part of the blue rejoiced. Tears were just outpouring from my eyes. I just can’t help to get carried away by Chris [he also cried a lot!]. He made me sob a lot. I got so emotional. “Why is it so hard to leave the past?” those lines were still lingering on my mind until now. I just can’t leave all those memories behind. You know, it’s so hard. Much harder than you expect it’s gonna be. Why? It’s probably because of the existence of this guy who capTIUred my heart. This certain CHRISTOPHER JOHN ALANDY-DY TIU, a five-foot-eleven small guard from the Ateneo blue eagles. It’s really hard to accept the fact that he’s leaving the UAAP hardcourt now. Oh-no! Tears were running down my eyes again. [aww. how dramatic!] Now, I can’t see him more often. No more basketball games. Yet, there’s still Ripley’s [Mondays], and Pinoy Records [Saturdays] which can somehow, comfort me through these sad moments of mine. I hope, he would still update his blog because that’s the only way I could check-out the latest happenings on him. Well, what do I have to say next? This entry’s already long. A novel-minded spirit had get into me again. Haha. x)) “One big fight!”, “Fabilioh!”, “Go, fight blue and white! Go Ateneo!” ps. The adidas shirt really predicts well. “Bring back the pride!”

- Fun.
This blog was created August of 2008. Putting up an account here wasn't really on my plans. It's just that I was so crazy about Chris Tiu before and he runs a blog so I thought of creating my own as well. Years have passed, and I have grown yet I still keep my personal stuff here. Yes, things may change but one thing's for sure -- I will continue running this blog as long as I can.
